We play old-time, bluegrass and related music, as a duet act. We mix it up a bit with fiddle tunes and hoedowns, spooky old mountain ballads, and the occasional traditional bluegrass number. Annie plays fiddle, guitar, old-time banjo and mandolin, while John plays guitar, bluegrass banjo and mandolin. Not all at once. We'll take the time to create a more compelling website in the near future, including some music samples, but for now this should give you the basics. Ms. Staninec is a talented and exciting fiddle player, and is equally at home playing impossibly fast bluegrass or gypsy music as she is with an eery mountain fiddle tune or slow ballad.
